VERGE ONLINE PRESENTS: 'P-DAY'
P-Day is a movement to give hope to young women and men and future families that fidelity is not lost. In our world, irresponsible sexual behavior is the norm—young people are being taught that a condom makes sex responsible. We want to crush that myth. We want to support those who know that sex should be restricted to an act which is between a man and woman who are married to each other. Therefore our P-Day events support students and campus programs that highlight abstinence among single adults and adolescents, marriage training and enrichment, and young single-parents who live with the challenges related to irresponsible sexual behavior, or a breaking of the marriage commitment which was created to fortify family unity.
What are P-Day Events?
The Art of Losing (performance)
P-Day events are stage productions of our original set of monologues called the Art of Losing. During the week of Valentines Day, participants host an Art of Losing production, to treat the consequences of sex in casual relationships and highlight the virtue in embracing purity. We supply the script. You supply the actors. You create a plan to make the event successful artistically and as a fundraiser for the specific causes we identify in our mission.
